After a racing incident in which a desperate pass by a flying Valentino Rossi resulted in Casey's Repsol Honda crashing out of the race Stoner waited for Rossi to make his next pass to give him sarcastic applause trackside.
Rossi went to apologise to Stoner post race. Not one to back down, Stoner let his displeasure known telling the seven-time MotoGP champion, "Obviously your ambition outweighs your talent." Wow.
